Attorney Profiles

Katherine Knight was born in Fort Worth, Texas.  Katherine attended Texas Tech University where she received her undergraduate degree in French in 1976.  In 1982, she was awarded her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University.  During law school at Texas Tech University, she served on the Legal Research and Writing Board and became a member of Phi Alpha Delta.  She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 1982.  Katherine worked as Assistant City Attorney in Dallas from 1983 through 1993.  Katherine practices primarily in the areas of insurance and personal injury defense.
