Malissa Patel is an associate attorney in the Community Associations department. Her experience includes real estate transactions, corporation formations, business entities, and business litigation. From a young age, Malissa gained experiece in hospitality management with exposure to the hotel industry. She currently focuses her practice on representing property owners associations and association board members.
Malissa graduated from the University of Georgia in the fine city of Athens, Georgia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a focus in Community Development. Upon graduation, she immediately enrolled at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served in executive roles for the College's Student Bar Association, Business & Law Society, and Public Interest Law Association. Malissa also spent time as a judicial intern for The Honorable Justice Robert Benham of the Georgia Supreme Court and a legal extern for the U.S. Trustee of Region 21 in Atlanta, GA.
She took the Texas Bar Exam in July of 2018 and is now a resident of Dallas, Texas.
